Terms of sale

These terms apply when you purchase products or book an experience from Cellar Social Ltd through this website. Please read them before placing an order.

Age and responsible purchasing

You must be at least 18 years old to buy alcohol. By placing an alcohol order, you confirm that both you and the intended recipient are 18 or over. We or our delivery partner may refuse a sale or delivery where suitable age verification cannot be completed.

Orders and payment

Products, prices, taxes, delivery choices and any available discounts are shown during Shopify Checkout. Submitting an order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed when we accept the order and send confirmation. We may decline or cancel an order where stock is unavailable, payment is not authorised, information appears incorrect or the order cannot lawfully be fulfilled; any payment taken for a cancelled order will be returned.

Availability and product information

We take reasonable care to keep descriptions, images, vintages, sizes, prices and stock accurate. Natural products and packaging can vary. We will not substitute a materially different product without contacting you or giving you the option of a refund.

Delivery

Delivery options and estimated timings are displayed at checkout and are estimates unless expressly agreed otherwise. You are responsible for supplying a complete, accurate address and ensuring an adult can accept alcohol. Please see our delivery and returns information for age checks, failed deliveries, damage, cancellations and returns.

Events and experiences

Event-specific details, inclusions, dates, locations and cancellation conditions will be shown before booking. We may make reasonable changes where circumstances outside our control require them. If we cancel an event and cannot offer a suitable alternative, the amount paid for that booking will be refunded.

Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your statutory consumer rights. Subject to that, we are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was formed or for business losses arising from a consumer purchase.

Law

These terms are governed by the applicable laws of the United Kingdom. As a consumer, you retain any mandatory rights and may bring proceedings in the courts available to you under applicable consumer law.
